it will/should be larger to match the size of the updated GM twins. looks like it at least.

not a big fan... but everyone hated the 2012 refresh before that came out, and the 2nd gen in general before those started rolling out, and now look.

a couple of modified ones will change people's opinions.

I don't know if it's even possible to make a good looking plate bumper with those body lines... Haha

I am just not feeling that front end at all. Very weak effort by Toyota IMO.

The bumpers are going to built similar to the way they are now and you'll have to cut the stock bumper to fill in the gaps. That's what they're doing with the 200 series cruisers.

Toyota better really bring it with the new engine and tranny combo. $35,000+ for pretty much the same truck... that's a tough sell, to me at least.

Well, the good news is at first glance it doesn't appear it has gotten any bigger...

Oh, and the composite bed looks identical to the 2015 model.

Looks like just what I was hoping for. Same bed and cab so I can use my existing shell and a locking tailgate at last. Any power or tech upgrades are just icing on the cake for me.

The grille just looks weird IMO. It sticks out and looks kinda weird. I guess I'll get used to it.

How's a skid plate gonna work-in with that little snow shovel?

Once you rip all of that shit off the front you could still plate it. It looks like it's squinting to me.

I like everything except that lower air dam thing. Thats gotta go. But i bet they had to do it for gas mileage and wind drag.

This truck would look sharp in a regular cab configuration.

How much did the cab dimensions change? Wonder if it will be possible to do a full front-end conversion?

I also find it ironic Toyota chose to stage the publicity photos with the ugly front airdam installed but the mudflaps removed...
