Dang, right in my neck of the woods. Totally would have gone but Ill be in Colorado been wanting to make a run up there. Went a few times last year, was a blast.

 

There will always be more trips. Seems like its not too hard to find people who want to go.

It would have been nice to have another DCLB in the group! Guess ill be the only one again. even tho its a champ in the snow!!

Ya it doesn't do half bad that's for sure. Always find myself wishing I had a manual in the snow though, and was taller lol but I make due!

haha call it what you want, i like to call it, taking advantage of human ingenuity. its not like i dont know how to drive a manual, now THAT is some pussy shit!

 

Hah we this is the first automatic vehicle I've owned, so driving a manual comes more natural. Almost 3 years of owning this truck and I still get the urge to shift or reach for the clutch.. lol

Just personal preference is all.it comes down to. My man has a extended cab that's a manual and he hates it most the time lol

See, this is where I am having a hard time. I like the edges of the st maxx. Tread pattern is good too, plus I like how it looks built in layers (but isn't).

I am really torn. Discount tire has the duratracs. Discount tire direct ebay has the st maxx. I am considering calling discount and seeing if they will order the maxx's for the same price on their ebay store. If not, I might be going with duratracs.

But from what I read, the st maxx are quieter (not that I care totally). And they come in a C range too...

That's what I am about down to. Kinda sucks... I guess I'll finish researching at work tomorrow. Maybe I'll call some people too.

However, idiots at sams club (was shopping for other stuff) tried telling my 255/75 was the same height as 265/70. I know a half inch isn't all that much to people who install tires, but it is to those of us who play with our trucks..

 

I was in a similar dilemma and ended up with the C rated Duratracs in 265/70-17. Love em so far, amazing in the snow.

I didn't like the lack of siping on the MAXX or that I read they are of a harder compound.
