Let me share my story about stupid USPS. I bought a patch (cloth and velcro) around the 6th or 7th of Dec. It took over 2 fucking weeks for it to get to me (insured/tracked) via priority flat rate box. It showed up bagged, with the box smashed and destroyed. Somehow the patch was still in the package, but had it been ANYTHING else...it likely would not have made it to me safely. Cheapest shipping ain't always worth it.

    Edit for addition

The seller had to call USPS and inquire about the location of the package twice. The tracking number showed that it hadn't shipped for a week and a half. After the 2nd phone call, the tracking magically updated with all stops plus showed as in my city. Delivered (barely) the next day.

I figured $5 shipping is steep, but $15 shipped isn't bad for what I'm getting.

    Hopefully that helps perspective.

at $10 ill buy one or two for me and a gift, but my question is if I buy a 2 key system, it can't be expanded to allow more keys.. so wouldn't I want to buy a 5? or then am I stuck with always having 5 keys... ??? what resolution is there to this if it's been thought of.

    :(

I would imagine there is spacer so you can use the 5 key one with fewer than 5

OP/manu. can you confirm this before I purchase a few? how many keys does the spacer compensate for?

I'd think the same size nut that OP includes, added on the inside of said key holder would work just the same as a spacer.

Guys.. i provide the actual key mechanism. I also help out by getting you the smallest screw and nut i can find to make it more stealth. Finally if you want to go from a 2 to a 5 key system in the future, I would suggest doing what tiger fan has said. Getting a spacer.
Also I would definitely recommend Loctite of some sort.. i think the blue one so you know it wont unscrew. I've had mine for 2 weeks and so far have had no problems.

Peerunner or anyone.. did you guys get yours in the mail yet.. ??

I subscribed to your thread so it will notify me of updates. That way I can see when you start selling metal ones.

I'll be a lab rat for the metal one when you get it built if you like? :)
