It looks Lego-ish in the front, has a lip on the tailgate like an F150 and a lot going on with both ends. Too busy- looks like it took a whole bunch of styling clues from other makes and the Tundra. I wish I could trade my 06 for a 15 and keep it for 8-10 years. Maybe a 4th gen would be out then that looks better.

It's too bad there isn't a 3rd gen section on here. Not bad, if it looked like the current Tacoma everyone would just complain that it looks the same.

So... As far as their redesign went, the cab still is exactly the same and the changed the front to look less aggressive. It does say it's a limited, which means it has their stupid extra chrome... so hopefully that won't be there. The rear just doesn't look like it belongs on the truck. And that grill..... seriously?
Interested to see what the interior is like though, and a redesigned frame? Does that mean no more rust? Haha

Looks like they mixed up the body lines from a Dodge dakota, Ford F-150, Chevy Colorado, Toyota Tundra and even a Honda ridgeline to design this. I'm not feeling it, too many things going on and none of it matches or mixes well. jmo

Glad I bought a 2015 even if it is a 10 year old new truck.

The same shit everyone else has.
And I thought the '12+ front end was ugly. I'll stick to my '11.

It does look like the trailer harness plug is next to the license plate, which is about the only improvement I can see.

Im 90% sure I'm going to Detroit next weekend for the autoshow. Im curious to see the inside and power train options. And maybe it looks better in person??

Those plastic lower valences can usually just be popped off for more ground clearance, or kept on for better mileage. It's not that big of a deal.
Yeah...putting a plate bumper on looks complicated. Otherwise, I kinda like the looks. I still think the 12-15 front end looks the best, but the new style could grow on me. I'm curious to see the interior, though I think my 14's interior is plenty modern (I don't see what the whole fuss is about in regards to the Colorado interior being better...). But I think I'll still have my 14 for a VERY long time to come. Love this truck. Gonna drive it till it quits!

I bet it will grow on everybody.. Seems like that's how it is for most vehicles when they first come out, everbody's used to looking at current models and it's a change they're not used to yet. I wanna see the interior.

I'm with most here, glad I got a 2014. This new one has overwrought, somewhat comical styling. This might be the first generation of a Toyota pickup I don't like, and I've loved every version up to the 2015 Tacoma.

I hope the cabin is better than the exterior. I bet this sends people out rushing to buy the last 2nd gens available, otherwise driving values up on current trucks. Dare I say this in public, but I actually like the Canyon/ Colorado styling over the '16 Tacoma and I can't stand GM.
