I like it from the front wheels back... The face might be alright with a different grille and an aftermarket front bumper.

Yeah, not sure a Satoshi would even look on a grill that big

If the angles in portion was color matched to truck on Satoshi style it would make grill appear much smaller. I already see Homer making a ton of cabbage on grills for the 2016. So much in fact I hope they give him one to measure up and make some in advance for people getting it lol.

This is exactly what I thought. The chrome in the tail light looks cheesy as shit.

Also note, someone already scratched up that tailgate.

I have a feeling the locking tailgate/moonroof will be options. Just another way the stealership can mark it up $10k

Not much of a change, i'm hoping there are a lot of small changes. From the looks of it they wont have to retool the production line at all.

Not sure if someone else noticed but after i downloaded the high quality picture of that Toyota website, i noticed the truck said limited on the side. So I'm wondering if the sunroof and tailgate will only be an option for certain packages just like now a days leather seats are just for limited. Might be wrong on that one.

The front end just looks like a mini Sequoia in a way.

I think people will get used to it just like the 2nd Gen.

Can almost guarantee they will be either just limited options or a hefty $ addition as option. Either way I have sunroof in my work truck and never use it they're uselsss really. Tailgate I'm sure will be standard however across trims.

I hope it looks better in person.

I can't get past the front grille. It looks like some sort of protrusion like an infected puncture wound. Now that I see it that way, I can't stop seeing it that way. I want to give it some antibiotics.

It doesn't look put together to me. It seems like a collection of different ideas from different people, all stuck together wherever it can all fit. Glad they found an empty spot for that goofy little antenna triangle on the back of the cab. No inspired vision.

Maybe the pictures don't do it justice?

This makes me feel glad. Not the right time for me to trade in my 2013. I can certainly wait.

Would look much better without all the chrome. Photoshop anyone?

    Hate:
    - Grill and fog light chrome surrounds
    - Actually, I hate the whole grill
    - Swollen, "dip-lip" bumper
    - low hanging valence
    - Wheels
    - Tail lights
    - chrome mirrors
    - chrome handles

    Like:
    - moonroof
    - headlights
    - blank for trailer plug
    - backup sensors
    - apparently reinforced tailgate (but not the styling of it)
    - black portion of rear bumper (not sure why)
    - locking tailgate
    - bed lights

Maybe there is a TRD version (that I haven't seen yet) that eliminates most of the chrome

Most of the things I would be concerned with are not covered with exterior pics.

I was expecting a full redesign. Not a new bed and front clip?

That is all this is, right? Perhaps with minor unseen enhancements that typically come year to year? Oh, and a long overdue sunroof.

Makes me feel better about buying my 2015 last week. I had a 2003 and a 2008. But the next one I buy I would like to be a "complete" redesign. We're due?!

It appears we know where the guy who designed the Mitsu Raider taillights is working now:)
