I'm so glad that members here are going to see this in person. I'd like to hear thoughts from existing owners versus reporters just telling people what sells. Look forward to hearing your thoughts / impressions.

Please take lots pics. Can never have enough of those. :)

+1... I've already purchased my tickets, next Saturday 1/17 can't get here soon enough! I hope they have a few different trim levels we can sit in. Usually on new releases they only have one or 2 models roped off on the main stage turntables where the general public cannot sit in. I hope this isn't the case with the '16 taco.

i'm going the weekend after that. i hope so too. i think since it's a truck and not a new corvette, it should be more accessible to the public. i look forward to seeing it and the colorado consecutively for comparison.

The person who design all the new toyota, really need to be fired. Especially the one who design this ugly grill on the tundra and tacoma!

Just because people with 14's and 15's don't like it docent mean they are jealous or hating. Same reason guys still buy 1st gens over 2nd gens and I guarantee Toyota will sell every last 15 without having to do special markdowns, etc. People just have different tastes. I love 1st gens and 2nd gens, maybe this one will grow on me but that front and rear are fugly and one look at motor trend, jalopnik, etc. not just toyota fan boys are hating on the looks.

When the engine specs come out and the tow capacities are made public; then I think a lot of negativity will disappear. But then, what do I know.....:D
