We used to go in that way back in the day when Wentworth was dirt from stumpy to ice house. So from mosquito Road to Wentworth then a few more miles back to dirt. It was a really long trek that most stock 4wd could do. There is also a trail that goes to pollock pines but it was 20 yrs ago that I went that way. I don't know if it's still open but I would think it is.

Might see me up there tomorrow. Wife wants to see the burn area around Stumpy.

so I was thinking.....since this was the 2014 wheeling trip...maybe I should start one for 2015? I can post the link once its created and everyone can subscribe. I think it would be too much if we start adding to this one no? I lost track of trips around mid October when I went on leave for 8 weeks

I planned it for the first weekend in December. I think that works for most folks.

My bad I thought you guys went on the second weekend. Anyways if it's sooner next yr I will go . But we always get are tree right after thanksgiving. Its probably better that you have a small group. It looks like you guys had fun.

ya i like the first weekend in Dec, i think it works for most folks, and given the size of the turnout (15 trucks) i think it was a success...

you could always score a second tree, one for a family member or a friend. They're only $10

Maybe we can do two trips. One for guys like me that do there tree sooner. But I don't want to make waves. Your trip was a success.

Changed the title per Ferny's request.

For 2015 feel free to start a thread!

Huh? I pmed Chris 4x4 a week ago to have it changed to 2015. Now it's back? So are we killing off this thread and starting a new one? Seems redundant...

    whatever.

Ferny requested it be changed back. I can close and stick this for historic purposes and a 2015 thread started.

    [qoute]
Can we change this back to the 2014 wheeling thread please? I think a 2015 thread is in order to keep things uncluttered.

    Thank you
