I've been looking at adding heated seats - found a lot of info here, but can't find any info on this brand - has anyone tried them?

    https://www.heatyourseat.com/Vehicles/3-Series-Dual-Wire/TOYOTA/TACOMA/2004-2014 (All).aspx

The are rated at 50watts, versus the ones Clazzio sells that show to be 25watts, and show the following temps (they have 3 settings; low, medium, and boil:

    Premium (High) 110°F (+/- 3 °F) or 43.3°C
    Premium (Medium) 105°F (+/- 3 °F) or 40.6°C
    Premium (Low) 100°F (+/- 3 °F) or 38°C

    Thoughts?

I just bought 2 sets of these for front and rear heat. That price is outrageous. And I will be using these on my Clazzio's when they come in.

Yah, they aren't cheap, but they are electronically controlled and much hotter than the other ones I have seen - I'm looking for quick warm up times as much as anything.

These are carbon fiber and just about heat as quick as you turn the switch on. But hey it's your money, and remember I think if it is too hot. You will probably prematurely dry and crack your seats.

I bought a set of carbon fiber heater from Amazon tgat had good reviews for around $70 for the set and they work great and heat up quick. 2 heat settings come with everything needed to install.

I had looked at theirs - and am thinking about them too. I liked the ones from HeatYourSeat due to the control module setup, but having second thoughts as their website is down .... it's a sign! :p

So long as I can bake my a$$ in the winter time I'm happy. Oh, and I'm not putting in leather seat covers; just going to put these under the stock seat covers (SR5 cloth).

Not trying to take this thread off course, but be advised. Seat heaters can crack leathers seats.

My wife likes to fry her backside with her Avalons factory seat heater in the winter months. Took maybe 3 or so yrs. to do it, but her drivers leather seat started cracking. My guess is a medium rare setting could save the leather.

Lester - appreciate the input. I'm hoping it doesn't screw up the cloth covers - I'm not going the leather / pleather / vinyl route ...

Decisions decisions - I don't want to spend a f*ck ton of money, but I sure don't want to have to do the job twice - I want something that is basically factory quality, and preferably LOOKS like a factory install (no good reason why, except I'm anal).

I'm doing my research - at some point I'll have more to post.

I know there are a lot of heated seat threads - if I go a different route, I'll post a good bit of info.

Unchained - with the price and warranty I'm seriously thinking about those. And a helluva lot cheaper than $250! :D

Did you install those yourself? If so how difficult was it? Love this idea just wonder how hard it would be to get the cloth back in position, stright, and looking nice again.

No doubt - 'cause the seats (what you can see in them) look factory - no wrinkles no muss no fuss - that can't be easy 'specially with the bolstering of the sport seats!

CMurder - road trip to Texas maybe ... ?
