From the little research I did, the APL has 1/3 the lumens while only being rated for 15 minutes more run time at only $35 or so cheaper. And... I really prefer the look of the Streamlight. I do see a lot of people rub the APL though!

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
My NPAP M70 felt left out so I got some upgrades for him. More to come soon and no I'm not using the buffer and buffer spring:

I believe that's what I have on my rifle currently. I don't use it much if at all, but when I need it, I'll be thankful it's there. From what I've seen so far it's a nice light without the sure fire price tag.

And if anyone is curious why I ended up putting it on my gun, the house I am currently in is rather old (as in 40s Id guess). It makes noises, first couple nights I was there it sounded like someone was upstairs. I was the only one there and the doors were locked. I freaked and ended up clearing the entire house. I hadn't been up stairs except for once or twice (room mates live up stairs), and had to find the light switches.....which took a while in both rooms. After that I decided I'd rather have one on my gun and not have to work about it.

Moral of the story....old houses make funny noises which makes a great excuse for a weapon light

Yea there's a mag feed and a tube fed version.
I paid 220 bux for it then 100 for the stock. I just needed a gun that would fit in my quad box.

That's a pity. I'd like to see one that's actually a true forged steel damascus piece, but that'd be $$$.

 for pics of your sintered hammer of doom

Found a sale on 30-30 Core-Lokt and may have gotten slightly carried away.

200 rounds of 30-30 equals a lot of deer. A good ammo can to pack up and put away for a rainy day.

    AND THEN?!

    X2
    :pout:

Personally, I prefer the .32spl for an all-around cartridge, but you never see that popping up for $14 a box. Cheapest I've found it for lately was $22/box for Leverevolution at an 'end of deer season' sale last year.

I spent last night vacuum sealing the boxes in mylar with a mini-pack of dessicants each. Should be good for a few centuries now, haha!

    Icky poo.
It looks like they just laser-etched a damascene-esque pattern into the hammer AFTER they were done machining it.

I'm sure that they probably did machine it from a block of damascus. The problem is that the sintered stuff doesn't look organic enough; the lines are almost too regular. So when they machine it the lines end up looking like laser etching.

    Pity.
