    From Moab, Utah:

    Go South on Hwy 191 Approx 13 miles. Just after the uphill passing lane comes to an end, take the first left (this comes quickly, be prepared). Follow the maintained dirt road and signs for about 3 miles to the cleared parking area on the left.

    I have a laundry list of parts i need to purchase to make sure the rig is in top shape for the drive there , the off roading abuse and make it back.

    thinking of doing
    -02 sensors upstream and down
    - Fuel Injectors
    - thermostat
    - Ball joints upper and lower
    - new bushings for the lower arms.
    - Diffs/tranny/tcase oil
    - Brakes front and back
    - New plugs
    - maybe spark plug coil packs.
    - maybe wheel bearings.

    why on gods green earth would you change the coil packs and O2 sensors?? unless of course there was a problem with them.

    Because catalytic converter are freaking expensive.

    I said maybe coil packs.

    i bet you could still find a good time in Moab with a pre runner...won't be able to do the harder trails that require 4wd, but there's a good selection to choose from to get a taste of moab in a prerunner

    true cats are expensive but just the same if O2 goes bad the computer will flip on a light before you could ever damage one.

    Man didn't even notice that. I'm still running the factory injectors with 230K on them in my truck and I wouldn't dream of changing them until one fails. I run a high end cleaner through them every 30K.

    So what im getting at is if you want throw money away on unbroken parts that's fine by me. less upgrades for you.

    Last spring my buddies and I took a trip out there and camped at the top of porcupine rim. I think it took us 2 hours of almost non-stop downhill riding to get to the bottom. We'd arrange for a friend to pick us up and bring us back to camp on their way out of arches. Perfect plan IMO.....no slogging it uphill!

    your wasting money on injectors, o2 sensors and coils. do your regulwr maintenance before moab. fix anything thant needs attention and purchase some spares of the normal problems when offroading 2nd gens... inner and outer tre's, one assembled front wheel bearing and a u joint. bout it....
