Late to this convo but I think 315's are a great compromise to a 35/12.50. Noticeable smaller but still a bit tire, I didn't have to tub near as much as most, and my trucks fucking GETS IT with the 5.29s, add to it the EBC brakes and urd shifter = race truck. I just wish I had some LT to soak up the bumps.

If you don't want 35s then get 315s, they would be fine with 4.88s, I am on the cusp of 5.29s being to much, but they are perfect.

Yeah I have 488's on 35's. Should have gone 529's 4WL is still too fast for creeping over rocks with a manual. But once I do the crawl box it will not matter much.

Got a check in the mail for that incident.....I had totally given up on ever seeing anything. I did all of the paperwork and turned it in to the court ages ago. The trial date came and went in I think October 2012 and I never heard a thing. Then a check shows up today. I wasn't going to fight it when I didn't get anything....that girl has too many problems. She had to serve like 90 days in jail for the incident with me (no insurance, no registration) and was arrested that summer for leaving a baby in her car (she was babysitting) for hours in 90* weather while she gambled. Got put in jail for that too. Then she got out of jail and was arrested for DUI - her 5th or 6th - within a week of being released. She's been in prison for about a year now.

yep. as soon as i got out of the truck and saw her and the condition of my truck vs her car i knew i was calling the cops. i wanted a permanent record of the incident just in case, didn't want to give her the opportunity to come back later on and make it seem like it was my fault. i had all of my papers ready to go when the cop showed up, he took my info, gave me a copy of the report he wrote up and i was on my way. meanwhile she was looking through all of the junk in her glovebox and all she could find was the registration from the previous owner (she never had it registered in her name) and a letter from her insurance telling her they were dropping her coverage because she never paid the premium. SO GLAD I called the cops....

I so desperately want to install a dash cam (not that it would help being rear ended)

I have a 32gb SD card and have the camera set to record 10 minute loops.
It will store about 10, 10 minute video's than start to overwrite the oldest video. Works at night too.

That looks great with the exception that I do not want anything mounted on the windshield obstructing my view.

I have another dash cam bookmarked from this site that mounts to the back of the rear view mirror. Same kind of deal of recording video on loops that overwrite the oldest.

I understand. the display actually stays folded up and there are different methods of mounting. In the GMC van, I have several yards of windshield space to work with :D

Yeah, our Tacoma windshields probably seem like a microscope slide compared to your van.

Interesting. I've had this rear view mirror w/ integrated backup camera in my future mods, for the price not sure why I haven't got one yet.

When I'm not on my work computer and get back to my "hanky panky" computer, I'll link up the bookmark I have.

I remember being wholly impressed with the set up.

I really like EBC brand stuff, have been running green stuff 7000 pads and they are great.

you should do steel braided lines too while you're at it.
