This grill makes me feel like if out in the bush for days I could still get a close shave! They changed the window line on the rear doors, but the cab itself looks pretty much unchanged, made a new bed, fenders and BIG grill, so it does not feel like a whole new truck to me, more like a generation 2.5. That sums it up for me, though I feel with future mods we will grow to like them after all it is a taco!

If they made it look like the 4runner then people would complain that Toyota was being cheap... Point is, people will ALWAYS find something to complain about

How is it that at this moment 27 people have said yes they like it, 14 have either said no or hell no, and only 2 have said whatever they won't buy it, but EVERY SINGLE FREAKING PERSON who has posted on this thread is just talking non-stop about how much they hate the looks of it.

Sounds like a lot of people are butt hurt because they can't afford a new vehicle so they want to make it seem like they don't want it.

I'd have bought a 2015 Tacoma already if my son could fit in the back. Not a lot of back seat room.

Too big for Austin streets. Bad mileage. Don't fit in garage. Insurance too high. Wife doesn't like. There's lots of reasons not to get a full size.

Not sure why everyone is knocking it. From cruising the forums here for a while it looks like they've addressed the biggest concerns people have about the second gen:

-Air dam will help with MPG's
-Beefier tailgate that hopefully wont be so prone to bending
    -Sunroof!

Yet to see if they have done anything with the frame and crappy leaf springs. And we haven't even seen what's in store for drivetrain or interior refinements. If it has MOAR POWAH, an available supercharger for EVEN MOAR POWAH, and some things inside to class it up and bring it into the 21st century I'm all for it. Needs plate bumper though.

I probably wont buy one as I'm very happy with my 2012. I've addressed (or am in the process of addressing) all the things I thought could be improved already except for the MPG's... and if we're ever going to get out of this low oil price hell hole that's costing many of us our savings and our jobs, we're all going to have to do our part to use as much oil as possible and drive up demand!

Looks like Toyota largely kept the cab portion from the second generation and re-skinned the exterior of the front and rear sections. The sheet metal changes on the front/rear sides and tailgate look okay. I think the front and rear bumper/caps are the worst part, as they look rather flimsy and do not project strength. Even so, the design is already starting to grow on me.....

I need a bed. For crap that I'd never put in the back of an SUV. Dead things. Trees. Dirt. More dead things.

There's a trend toward the dead things...

I like it. If the powertrain is a more capable, more powerful, more fuel efficient v6, I'll trade my 2011 for it.

honestly a honda ridgeline may be a good option for you, depending on where you plan on taking the truck (trails, camp sites, etc). lots of interior and rear seat room, and still has a bed you can throw dirty shit in.

But he fits in the back of my wife's Prius. What kind of topsy-turvy world do we live in when a Prius has more interior room than a TACOMA?!?

Front end too bulbous. The fenders look good, more rounded wheel wells look good. Rear end looks ok.

I've seen some people say some of the photos look photoshopped. Yeah, look at the front pics, the front end looks like it is sticking out about 24 inches from the front tire. But, the side photo it has the real short front porch.

If they produce it with a 3.5l that has 270hp/248 torque, how is that an improvement?

Meh... I'll wait to pass judgement til I see other trim packages. The Limited looks funky. Looks to me like the 4 Runner and Tundra had a runty offspring...
