Thanks! It should be a great day. I do feel a bit bad that it's right during the Pats game, but that's why they invented smart phones and DVR I suppose.

Congrats, Mike! Remember, one of the perks to being a married man is you no longer have to remember any mistake you make. There's no sense in 2 people remembering the same things! :D

Thats right! It's your day so TRY and make sure you think it as such. Everyone's there for you and her. It fly's by so fast it's not even funny, just remember to stop once in a while and take it all in. I'm sure any die hard pats fans will be able to keep track of the game so don't let that distract you at all. Have fun!

Awesome, congrats. Hope it's not outside though, that would be a little chilly.

Shrug. Don't feel bad; I'm thirty and I drove a truck to work today that's a month older than me. :notsure:

Actually I don't mind it. Honestly having no payments on my truck is really nice, especially with daycare and payments on the wife's T4R. Would I like a bigger truck, ya, could I afford one sure. But there's nothing wrong with mine. It works for what I need it too, and it's simple to fix.

I get to find out how easy mine is to fix soon. I did the passenger mirror delete mod this morning.

If my '99 hadn't gotten frame cancer and been bought back I'd still be driving it. I missed having an old truck so much that I bought a really old one. I don't care if dent the Dodge; scratching the Tacoma would make me cry

    to old trucks.

That's what you get for driving something the size of a small planet.
Power heated mirror, too, probably? With integrated turn signal?

The 5th gen T4R i'm not sure I want to touch. I don't even change the oil on it. Only thing I do is air filter, cabin air filter, wipers etc.. You have to remove like 3 panels on the underside and whole bunch of other crap just to get to the drain plug. Plus for the Toyota syn changes there's always a coupon and it ends up being like $60. Not much more than it would cost me to go out and buy M1 or Penz Platinum and do it myself.

Not terrible, Rob's company has good pricing. But yeah, heated mirror with the turn signal.
When I first bought my Toyota, I bought it from Prime in Dedham and they were in fierce competition with Boch down the road. They kept sending me coupons for $9.99 oil changes. It was great while it lasted!

Oh absolutely. I figure anyone that has a problem with that can well, shove it lol. That's great advice, and other friends have echoed the same thing. I can't get over how fast it came. We've been engaged a year, and it just flew.

I got 2 Back to the Future references into the wedding, so I'm doing something right.

The honeymoon is coming back home, taking Monday off and going back to work. Can't afford the honeymoon right now. :( I think we'll try and get away even for a long weekend somewhere during April vacation or something. The ultimate goal is to get to Europe for 2-3 weeks and just explore, but I have a feeling that's going to be a long range planning deal.

    Thanks Billy!
    Nah, I'm not that sadistic.

I LOVED my '93 for that reason. I'm really OCD when it comes to my cars as far as scratches, dings and imperfections. I park in Siberia when I go anywhere, and am so careful. The 93 I'd fling around like it was nothing. Drive over things for fun, sit on the hood if I wanted a break, etc, etc. I washed it once when I owned it.

I kick myself daily for selling it. Older cars have such a charm that new ones just don't have. I'm starting to consider selling my STi to purchase a Z32 300ZX TT, but that's an after the wedding let the money hemorrhaging stop deal.

Haha, I miss my 87 Hardbody for that same reason. I used to jump that truck, drove it in all weather, beat the crap out of it and didn't care. I had a buddy drop a tree on the passenger's bedside and mash it flat into the bed. We put a jack under the bedrail and jacked it back up to where it was supposed to be and I drove it another 3 years. He filled my tank and we called it square. I didn't care because the tailgate still worked (but I never cut trees with that guy again)
If that happened to my Tacoma, I'd probably murder someone or something.
