Recall

Went in for oil change on my 05 prerunner.Checked the spiral cable.
The service advisor came back in and told me I would receive notice
soon for new rear springs and bushings at Toyota expense.

I received a notice for springs a few weeks ago. Took it to the dealer, but they said they had no parts available yet.

 

It actually says that on the notice

 

I know, my truck was already in there for a few other recalls/TSB's, this was on 5th, I was just curiouse if they had come up with anything yet, since I got my letter almost two months ago.

 

I don't know if it makes any difference,but I live in texas about 4 hours from the plant.
but I might have to wait the longest!!!

 

i know that my leaf spring is broken and missing a chunk,i need to pay and files a claim with toyota i guess

 

Anyone know if aal's will cause a problem getting this recall done?

 

Does anyone know if Toyota will reimburse for Aftermarket replacement leafs?

 

I was wondering that also. OZ? Your the man with all the answers. Any thoughts on this? I'll probably take mine off and just leave the airbags on.
