I'm a fan of a big Douglas Fir tree or a Western Red Cedar

 

Those would be nice but we are "the evergreen state" so that's how I came up with that.

 

So my fuckin Kimber 45 acp just went off in my truck... Shot the passenger side door between the speaker and floor. I was checking to confirm a round was chambered and boom... Pics to follow Tom.

 

How the hell does that happen?

 

Being a fucking idiot.. And not realizing your finger was on the trigger... A mistake I've never made in my life...

 

Wow, that's crazy. You definitely could have shot something worse. Glad to hear nothing really bad happened.

Thank jesus nothing crazy happened. I think a lot about being around guns over my whole life time, and how careful i have to be not to have an accident. Glad you're alright.

 

I know man what's crazy is that I'm a "stickler"!when it comes to guns and gun safety also. I own probably 30+ weapons for over 15 years and never one accident until now..

I kinda wanna see pictures of a point blank 45 round, to a passenger door looks like... is that wrong?

 

Unfortunately, some of the best lessons in life are sometimes the most painful. On multiple aspects.

Very glad that this didn't end with a body or an free ambulance ride.

Our bodies are programmed to develop muscle memory and routines almost immediately.

Sometimes it takes getting "bitten" to re-flash your brain.

 

This one is cool, but I'm somewhat averse to sporting a North Face-esque ad...

I guess I'm pretty much anti-brand sticker on my rig overall.

I really like the high-quality cut vinyl decals; if they are done right I think they can look pretty tasteful.

I'd maybe think about some acronym:

PNWTACOs - maybe with an outline of Mt. Baker in the background or something.

How are your ears? Shooting from inside a vehicle is loud as all hell.

 

Just be thankful thats all that happened..coulda been way worse! I had a similar incident to yours a couple years ago where my old man shot my 9mm through the table we were cleaning them on. We had finished shooting and he didnt realize that i had put my extra magazine back in the gun (hollow points), and he just instinctively chambered one and pulled the trigger in a safe direction before he dismantled it for cleaning.i about shit a brick but again, thank god the only evidence is a hole in our shop table.
