Shrockworks Sliders - No hi-lift point?

I know some weld-on sliders support using a hi-lift anywhere along the slider to jack up the truck on a trail. The Shrockworks bolt-on sliders do _not_ support this, right? I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting for $500, but I still might get them anyway.

If they don't, what places on a stock tacoma can you use a hi-lift?

 

I dont know about those particular sliders but the ones that Beefed Taco made me are bolt on and I use my Hi-Lift on them no problems.

for 500.00 I would look at some different sliders. if you cant jack up off of them then they arnt strong enough to really do you a lot of good.

As for other locations you can jack off a Stock taco....

With the right attachments like a Lift Mate you can jack from a wheel. Theres also a Bumper attachment you can use.

 

I can't say for sure but honestly, don't they have the same number of attachment points, bolt or weld? I don't see why it couldn't be used.... still better than a body panel even if it did bend...

heres another after I dragged the entire driver side length of the slider on a tree. They save my ass.

 

Nice! Looks like you were taking the bypass route which still proved to be pretty tight...? That's cool that they definitely saved your whole body! That's the fun stuff that get the heart going.

 

I must have lost 5 pounds sweating on that trail, the whole thing was tight like that.

i like the Shrockworks better then my Demelo sliders..the Shrockworks set up higher and closer to the body giving more ground clearance..i'm always getting hung up on the Demelo's becouse of that..an inch of extra ground clearance on the trail is GOLDEN in my experience haha..

 

Did you bolt yours on or weld them for added strength?

 

Also, this thread is pretty old. I got stubbs weld-on sliders, much cheaper and stout as hell
