Hey Boise guys, how is the Amity Rd/S. Five Mile Rd area for living? We were looking at renting a place before we bought so we could figure out the area, but our house here is selling faster than we thought it would, and we found a place we like in that area within our budget. So we might just skip the rent portion. I just don't want to buy a place in a crappy area not really knowing its a crappy area. My work is in Boise by the airport, my wife's is in Meridian.

I'm not from Boise, but I poke around there quite a bit. Seems like a nice neighborhood if you are into the whole culdesac/suburbia thing. You should rent for a while and get a feel for what makes you and the wifey happy before you buy man. Traffic is a nightmare at certain times (for me, but I'm a hillbilly), and it would suck to buy a place that forced you into the mess every day. Your wife might not enjoy sitting in traffic for 30 minutes each way, and it might work out better to get something on that end of town. Who do you work for?

The place we found is on almost an acre with corrals and horse shelters. The land appeals to me, and the horse crap appeals to the wife. I cannot live suburbia/culdesac. I am not a fan of people, so I have to have a little bit of land. I grew up on 5 acres in the middle of nowhere, and she grew up on a ranch in the middle of nowhere. We found another cool place just north of where Cabelas is. Real cool house built in 1941 with almost an acre. That being said, I think it will be best to rent at first that way were not trying to juggle escros, and trying to find a month to month deal until it closes, and look at traffic and make sure we even want to live there. I moved out of Reno 5 years ago because it was too big. This may not last long.
I'm taking a job at the Kenworth dealer.

Rent for sure. Boise is one of the fastest growing cities in America right now. It's nice, but it's crowded sometimes. Get a feel for it first unless you absolutely need a place to park the horses time now. Those lawnmowers get expensive don't they? ;)

Thankfully we don't have any right now. She college rodeo'd for UNLV and hasn't had any since she was in school. She's been itching for about the last year to get one. I've been able to talk her out of it every time, but I fear she's beginning to see through my crap haha. When I lived in Reno I was in the cookie cutter subdivisions which is what I hated so much. I think if we can get just a little land, I'll be ok for a while.

True, a little elbow room sure helps. I lived 30 miles from the nearest gas station in the Mojave desert before moving up here, and my wife hated being so remote. I loved it. Nothing like shooting coyotes without leaving the couch! We ended up in a neighborhood in a small town and I hate it. They don't even let you shoot cats or ride wheelies on motorcycles in towns, and apparently burn outs in your own drive way are frowned upon. :D I guess it's nice having the pizza dude on speed dial, but not worth the hassle of living in town for me. We do have some pretty good Rodeo's though, you are welcome (any of you dbags) to crash at my place. 4th of July is PBR and Barrel Racing on a large all grass arena, and Sep 16-19th it the big Pendleton Round Up.

The Pendleton Round up is definitely on my list of stuff to see, we'll be hitting that up for sure. The thing I am most bummed about is having to find new hunting spots. Some of my best bird hunting spots are less than a half hour from my house.

Wow...its dead In Here.. Did you all die off in the zombie apocalypse er something?

So to all the 1st gen guys. I have some factory 1gen axles that just need boots.
I sold them to another member thinking they were 2 gen axles. I didn't follow up on finding out what gen they fit because because I got them from a good friend of mine who is a Toyota guru of sorts and trusted him. But...as we all know...we are human and make mistakes and here I am. I've got to recoup my money with shipping so I can give the guy his money back.

I'm into the axles for $150.00plus shipping of 45.00 to new mexico. They are still in new Mexico but can be shipped from his house to you.

I've got them apart and cleaned and inspected. They are in great shape with little cup wear. And thought ide offer them to you guys first.

I've got pics. Call or text me. 208-596-0714
