Thats exactly it. If you read the safety material it will say no children/car seat in the front seat of a double cab.

Anybody installed a tranny cooler? I think it would be a good idea after how easily mine got so hot yesterday. I just don't know where to start

I haven't done it yet but I have the cooler already. I have a few links on my computer, if you send me a pm to remind me I'll forward them to you.

Also did your light come on? If so change the fluid ASAP.

Light never came on but I smelled something getting hot. The tranny fluid is a little dark though so I'm going to change it this week

I'm tinkering with an idea. I want my running lights also in the corners. I was able to keep those sockets in tact when I cut them out so now its just a matter of positioning them where I want em, If it don't work out oh well I can get new corners and try something else

Question. My hand-brake light stays on even when not in use. It goes off sometimes and sometimes it turns back on. Could it be grime affecting the sensor?

    Look at build!
Broke both front axleshafts and upper trunion bearings and inner hub gears today all within 200' of each other.. Totally worth it. One ton truggy time. Passenger birf completely exploded and broke the shaft in the hub and spun all the splines and driver side just cracked.

Check the brake sensor and the brake lever and see if it's making full contact or if it's getting hung up. When my cable started to fray it kept the lever from seating fully on the sensor and the light would stay lit sometimes.

Look under your drivers side door, up near the frame rail. The parking brake mechanism you are calling handbrake is located there. It's a spring the size of a golfball. soak that bastard in a brake cleaner and then hit it with high pressure air to clean it off. Then soak it in any kind of spray lubricant. if that doesn't fix your problem then the parking brake needs to be adjusted. the adjustment is done right next to the spring you would have just cleaned and lubed.
