Interesting...I go back and forth between McNeil and Glassworks...wondering if I need the 4" flare for LT or if the McNeil 3" will be enough...especially now that McNeil is doing flat top besides

 

these are 4" flare and 2" rise. if that helps any.

 

Yea I need to go look through all the glass and see which one has the best deal and will work for me

 

I'm always torn about new fenders. Wouldn't be worth it to me till LT but would be great motivation to actually go lt. I knew I should have stole my brother in laws Camburg set up before he sold hit taco.

 

i blew my passenger side fender flare off last time we went out by coming down a little hard. Since then i decided to buy them. Im wide enough now as is with them without LT.

 

Yea, with LT and dirty fives I'll definitelt need glass, I'm just wondering if I should go with the 6" glassworks front glass or stick with the 4"

 

Aren't you running methods with spacers? If so I definitely understand as that's a wide stance. Trust me I would get them in a heartbeat if I broke a fender. I love fiberglass fenders. Only issue is a snorkel with fiberglass, thats next on the nonessential mod list. Haha

 

Yeah methods and 1.5" spacers. It's wide but I want to go to a 2" spacer. Just for the front.

 

Ugh, I want to run a snorkel as well with fiberglass, but everything I've read says it's bad juju with a Supercharger. I've thinking on doing it but cutting a secondary hole in a CAI box on the side with a butterfly valve or something on the fender inlet that I can close if I ever have to go through water. Or a deck plate mod type of thing for the fender inlet.

 

The struggle is real!

I have no real big need for a snorkel but I can get one for $130 (non-arb) and its real tempting. I'd love to have one for my sc especially since I'm picking up a 7th injector. After June I'll have an extra 700 in cash since my daughter will be out of preschool so the mods will come.

 

Damn! Can I get you a wide load load sign to post up front?

 

Btw any first gen guys interested in some OEM cvs or spindles? I'll have 3 cvs and a pair of add spindles available in a week or two.

 

Ahhh you understand lol. TBH there's a bunch of mods I want, but I know for a fact I'll probably never actually need them, IE snorkel and front locker and a few others...I might need them waaaay down the road if I turn the truck into into a tial offroad beast...but that's like year and years down the road.

Heck, I've already got the wife on board with a cab cage, as I want to give the truck to my son when he's 16...so I've got 16 years to enjoy it LOL

 

Unless i paint my 4Runner pink my daughter won't accept it as of now...haha once we have some more spending money (raise this month and no preschool June) I'll do some more mods. Probably snorkel, rear bumper, tepui tent, regear and interior upgrade (speakers, sound deadening ect).

 

Yea, wife is due in may, so I've got until then to save up enough for a rear LT kit, AND buy baby stuff lol. Shouldn't be a problem, I make a good bit, but there's so many little things I still need to buy as well, and then also saving up to pay for the labor for all the LT is gonna hurt lol

 

Gauges, Fiberglass, axle extensions, couple more gussets...about 2k worth of performance mods lol (exhaust, intake, fuel pump, headers, y pipe, gauges), ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it never ends lol. I haven't even started a piggy bank for interior mods lol

 

Congrats, I'm trying to work on #2, but my wife is being "responsible" and waiting till she is done with school. Psh!

 

Haha thanks, just found out on Monday it's a boy! Everyone kept saying it was a girl, and the wife said her calender BS said it would be a girl, but obviously I'm so manly I overcame all that crap and fathered a boy. Haha anyhoo, yea I need to get the garage finished up and then get the prerunner all squared away for a trade in and just waiting on my dad to finally come through with some cash he promised for a wedding present like a year ago lol, to pay off my bike. Then it's 4x4 time.
