Morning from Ice Cube Land :)...supposed to be another cccccooooollllldddddd one today.

Good news for Charlies wife Paul. How is she and the family doing? I was telling Charlie about the issues my wife has with her Kia Sportage. The dealer dropped off a loaner and picked hers up 3 weeks ago and they are still working on it . Last I heard they replaced the dash harness and sunroof shades. We had a problem with the turbo (2.0l 4 cyl. needs the turbo) and haven't heard if they were working on that or not. It might be lemon law time when and if we get it back. It's a 2013 and they have been working on it off and on for electrical problems for a year and a half:rolleyes:.

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row with the kitchen Tom. "faucet power supply" . Is that for a motion activated faucet Tom? Saving change for what you want takes a little while, but damn it spends too fast:laughing:...

Hi Susan:D...how are the girls doing? Hows the new grand puppy doing? Growing into those ears yet

Do you have a secret bank account down in the Caymans Tom.?

I wish I did have more of it. we had planned on a kitchen redo but 3 years from now.

    Ken:
Yes it is a Moen Motion Sense faucet. Reviews were good and it will be nice to turn on the water without using dirty hands. I work on our vehicles and out in the yard quite a bit.

Good morning COD&D's. Cold snap didn't break, weatherman got it wrong. Again. I'm shocked. (not!) Paul, glad to hear about Charlie's wife getting some satisfaction. That family deserves a break.

We're burning through our woodpile pretty quickly this year. Today's the day I restock the pile under the forebay; we can get to that pretty easily in any weather. The rest of the wood takes a bit of a hike to get to. Neighbor said she had some wood for us too, so if I'm not frozen solid I'll check that out as well. Off to bundle up...

Morning everyone. Happy Sunday. Not as cold as yesterday, heat wave of 17* :).
Tom, the Moen Motion Sensor faucet looks like a nice finish to a kitchen. You'll have to post pics of the completed kitchen.

Hi Sue, I'm doing good thanks. Busy with retirement, not as busy as Tom, but busy which is good [IMG]. Glad all is well with you and the girls. It's been so cold up here that my neighbors dog Iggy walks out the door, does his business and runs back in to where it's warm  leaving my neighbor behind to clean up the mess:eek:...

    Morning all:
Flintlock season over, didn't see a tail in seven times out.
Have to post this for the hunters!
My buddy had a Murphys Law season! First he had a deer standing in front of him and when he went to cock the gun he noticed the flint was way crooked and when he went to straighten it the flint and leather piece that holds it fell on the ground, he found the flint but couldn't find the piece of leather. Then he missed one at about 130 yds. Then he took a hard fall on the snow covered ice and broke the sling attachment on the ramrod ferule. Then he saw another deer and the gun misfired due to no spark. He also lost 2 gloves, one each from 2 different pairs; hope the ones he lost weren't for the same hand!
I guess this just wasn't his year!

    Morning Ken and Carl

Sorry no deer Carl. Sorry for your buddy too ... did I ever tell ya'll about Sod's Law?

That's what the English use equivalent to our Murphy's Law ... because as the English Electrician told me, "We're not real fond of Murphy."

Well, turned 60 last December. Never thought that I'd make it this far, but I'm starting to enjoy the benefits:

    - seniors discounts
    - no more bank fees
    - early old age pension (Canada) that covers my truck and tractor payments!

.... and best of all, I qualify for this thread!

Now, where did I put down that....uhh.... what was it again?

Good morning everyone!! Hope you are finding productive ways...or non-productive ways...to enjoy the weekend.

Only 3 months until I turn 60 and can officially join the group.

I'm not sure what you are talking about regarding memory issues......

Good morning everyone! Hope you are finding productive ways...or non-productive ways...to enjoy the weekend.
