Are you sure you're going through the correct steps to engage 4WD ?

there is no vacuum to the transfer case.... that lil hose is a breather line. everything is electronic.

To get into 4 low, first get into 4hi (you can do so at less than 60mph by flipping the switch to 4hi). Then come to a stop, switch to neutral, then switch to 4low, let it engage, then put it back in drive.

I guess we have a bad actuator. It wont go into 4 wheel drive no matter what we try. And yes..I know the steps to get it in 4 wheel drive. It was working fine till it got really cold outside.

Kinda off topic with a manual is it necessary to go to push in the clutch while transferring to 4wd hi and low? If I don't it clunks in and out of 4wd.

Mine will get angry and beep and won't shift if I don't depress the clutch going from 4Hi to 4Lo or vice versa. But going from 2Hi to 4Hi or vice versa I switch back and forth all the time, moving, not moving, accelerating, coasting, in gear, out of gear, clutch in or out, it really doesn't matter.

But Lo to Hi I have to have the clutch in as if I'm starting the truck and I the one or two times I shifted while moving (like 1mph since you need to be 2mph or slower) I got a clunk so now I always just completely stop since it's always a smooth shift when I'm stopped.
