Alright so this dude was selling his yz250 for 1800, than texted me saying he needs money by this weekend, told me 1300 firm and it's mine. But I'm a believer of it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. That being said I've never owned my own bike so I do not know what to look for or ask. Is there anyone here who would be willing to come with me and check it out on Monday and tell me if you'd buy it. I'm stoked on the price , but unsure about the bike. Anyone here able to help me out? Thanks guys

Went out to Table Mesa with AZVJC for their annual wheeling clinic. My group ran Upper Terminator. The CJ5 did pretty good. I dont think there is any way the DCLB could run it.

 

I just picked up a 2002 yz250 for 1100 in perfect condition but needed tires so that price seems a bit high, and I personsally I would not go older then 2002 because the engine is the same all the way till 2015 so parts are going to stay available longer same for the plastics, but just look at it like you would a car ask who's done maintenance check for cracks on the steel frame check if it's antifreeze and not water look close at the radiators see if there smushed that means it's been layed down most dirt bikes have, also look at the date code on the tires they may look good but could be 10 years old how's it run ride take a flash light and look into the oil plug and slowly crank the bike by hand and check the clutch cage for gauges the yz is know for that if you want some one to still go with you though let me know I might be able to good luck!
