So, NDSU won another national title today and their senior class has more national titles (4) than it has lost games (3) the past four years.

When the Ohio State football players returned to their hotel rooms after the final College Football Playoff championship game media event Saturday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports, they had a surprise waiting for them on their beds: red “Beats by Dre” headphones. LeBron James, who endorses the product and has long been a supporter of the university, helped grease the wheels that led to the gifts.
He didn’t, though, buy them, which would be an NCAA violation. Instead, they were donated — by the company, presumably — which apparently isn’t an NCAA violation.
“LeBron helped facilitate the connection with Beats by Dre,” an OSU spokesperson told the Plain Dealer. “The headphones were donated to Ohio State and were distributed within the permissible NCAA limitations on awards.”
The headphones in question would set you back, if you didn’t have the hook-up, roughly $300 retail, plus tax.

 

Ohio State is going to beat Oregon. Soundly.
I have no stats or advanced stats or Zodiac hints to back up that claim, and I realize Oregon has Heisman winner Marcus Mariota going against Ohio State's No. 3 quarterback in Monday's national title game. I realize the Ducks are heavy favorites and that most of the experts are picking them, and that the Buckeyes play in what my friend Drew Sharp calls a "flea-ridden dog" of a league.
None of that can trump the eyeball test. As someone who covers Michigan State football, I got to watch the Spartans play — and lose to — both of these teams, and the bottom-line takeaway is this: The Buckeyes are too strong, too athletic and (gasp with Drew) too fast for the Ducks.
Now for the caveats. MSU lost, 46-27, at Oregon on Sept. 6. Ohio State came to Spartan Stadium and beat the Spartans, 49-37, on Nov. 8. And if the Spartans and Buckeyes have taught us anything in the past two seasons, it's that teams can change over a couple of months.

Well....I was called names because I said the buckeyes deserved to be in the final 4. Then I was called names because I said don't count them out against Alabama, and now it's the same ole derogatory comments but I don't care. My statements stand on their own merit.

 

Don't forget all the times you claimed Notre Dame was good.
