All good, thank you for asking though. Nice work.

There are things I'm not going to waste my time adding (i.e. bull bar), so if anybody wants to do it themselves, be my guest.

With that bumper you would have to really hack the truck up. You would have to cut the grill, fenders and the bumper.

The bumper doesn't attach to the body in a horizontal line like the 2nd gen and the flare is one solid piece, the 2nd gen had 1 piece of the flare attached to the bumper

You would have to cut a straight horizontal line across the whole front end to do this.

Only thing is bumper separation points will not allow this to happen easily. The existing bumper will need to be precision cut and some body shop work :(. That's going to be the tough part for aftermarket bumpers on this design...

Lol exactly you were posting same time as me. Photoshops cool but it cuts the "reality" corner out of it. Reality is much more difficult to deal with the 2016 front end design.

Well, until someone can actually pull a truck apart, this is all fantasy.

But, many second gen rear bumpers require the rear flare and sheet metal to be cut. Not much different than what we could consider here. If you could slightly heat and partially roll the remaining bumper (under the light area) without damaging the paint, perfect.

If not, that piece is not so big that it couldn't be created.

So the new Taco looks cool with $10K in mods, which will bring the mileage back down to 16 mpg? Sweet!

However, from the looks of this third generation truck, many should be able to swap their aftermarket parts straight over to this "new" generation! It's a win win for the consumer and automaker!

Ya they will be ugly too. Look at the tundra bumpers. They will probably have to have a similar design.

All we know of is wheels and tires. We still can't confirm suspension, box covers and we also know bumpers are 100% different so no I disagree with you.

Then there is sizing of sliders of cans different or frame then hose don't work and so on and so on...

Tomorrow at least we'll have more details our assumptions may make more sense. Lol

I'm just wondering what the price difference in the 15's and the 16's are?????????? Say a SR5 with a TRD package.

Will be interesting, currently tacoma's are already more expensive than the GM twins, but Toyota also isn't going to want to cut into their profit margins and with upgrades to the new 2016 obviously costing their production more I'm assuming some sort of price increase.
