Alright, first thing I need to say is I'm broke and have a spacer lift up front (feel free to slam me for this, I understand everyone's poor opinions of these). I've had this lift for a while now and decided its finally time to correct my camber/caster.
My question regarding UCA's is that I was wondering if I can run an aftermarket UCA (Camburg 1" or Icon Uniball) with stock struts. I can't afford to buy ext. length struts yet, but I would like to correct my caster/camber with an aftermarket UCA rather than buy the whole caboodle up front at once.
Any feedback on my situation is appreciated, regardless if its positive or negative. Thanks guys and I love this site more and more even after 3 years of silently stalking. haha [IMG]

Thanks for the quick reply. I do intend to move up to a decent mid travel setup with ext. length struts/Co's but for now I'm really just trying to correct the way my truck drives. I.e. the "wandering" at highway speeds. As well as get my alignment specs closer to factory or as close as I can get them.

So long story short its not bad to run an aftermarket UCA with 3" of lift and stock struts?

Noobish questions I know, but knowledge is power right?

Well, I got a good deal on spacers from a buddy of mine, and I ran out of cash after setting up my rear. Icon ext. length rr. shocks with All-Pro springs is what I have on the rear now, and I'm just saving until I can get the front done as well.

The real question is, why does Camburg's UCA that can use the stock ball joint not show up on their website or Wheelers websites anymore?

We just recently changed our set up with the balljoint UCAs. We are working on getting some pictures up on the website soon. We are now only selling the balljoint UCAs with a brand new MOOG balljoint already pressed into the arm. The kit also includes a pair of the balljoint covers for $599 retail. So you have no worries in trying to find new balljoints or having to deal with machining! These "new" arms will be powder coated black and will only be sold this way from now on. Let me know if you have any questions!
