I have the rubber ones like you. I like them because you can take them out and hit them with the hose and they are clean as new. But whenever I put a larger cup or a gatorade bottle in there they grip on and the whole thing comes out when I pull it out. The plastic spring thing would be nice but idk if it would fit in the same gap as the rubber ones. I thought it needed a slot type thing to fit into.

I have the rubber ones. I velcroed them down so they do not pull out.

The one out of my wife's 4Runner fits my 2011. Did they really change the cup holders on the 15's? Those rubber inserts look just like mine and mine has the little thing on it for the adjustable holder one.

Epic love this idea. 3m tape like he said might work better. Thanks guys

I velcroed mine as well and didn't use 3M tape because velcro still lets me remove the cupholder to fit larger powerade bottles and Nalgene bottles.

This ^^ The velcro still allows for easy removal and cleaning when needed.
