Yep, I called it. Rover asshats screwed over all of the actual participating teams still in the race. First by using war wagons bumper to winch out pulling him deaper into the mud then by getting stuck blocking the trail for the rest of the teams and to put the nail in the coffin ditch war wagon after they helped him twice.

Granted it would've been unfair for rover to help war wagon out since he's out of the race but it was still an asshole move to ditch out. All of the teams should come together and tell Rover to get the F out of there.

Here's a link. Right at the beginning. EDIT

Actually rewatching that, there's 3 vehicles on there that haven't been on the show. The red Toyota pickup, there's a Range Rover, and a black Jeep wrangler. I noticed all their shots are in pretty deep snow areas...which the guys on the show have never gone into deep snow.

No doubt. That's definitely a couple guys I wouldn't willingly wheel with. I don't even care if the production company told them they couldn't assist the competitors still in the race, it was just plain wrong.

On the flip side, if the rover team had stayed gone, then Bill and Butch would have been in the same situation if they got had gotten stuck there in the first place, so it's really irrelevant what the rover guys did.

Still, I agree, it would have been better if those asshats had not returned.

I have a couple theory. In the washed out road episode, you can see an ARB bumper in black as the guy pans right. Might be one of those vehicles.

    1. might be the crews production vehicles dicking around since they didn't have any great shots for the show.

    2. Could be some other contestants that they either decided not to use, or that had issues during the race early on or paperwork.

The rest of the teams would've had a clear shot to pass war wagon if rover wasn't there to block the trail which might've given them a running shot to get ahead of war wagon. I'd be pissed off if I was any one of the teams for them causing a loss in time, tailgating like they are, driving wrecklessly just to get around the actual competing teams. Looks like they cause more shit in the next episode from the previews. Jason must be a higher up in the offroad club or pitching in a substantial amount of the price money or something to keep doing this B.S. and getting away with it.

Super Heep would have been stuck in the same spot the rover was (beside the FJ) had the rover not been there. It would have amounted to the same situation. Only real difference is that the FJ might not have gotten stuck at all if they weren't screwing around because of the rover.

At this point I'm just viewing the rover as a mobile obstacle for the real teams to negotiate.

My point exactly which is why he needs to get thrown off the show for good.

Jason needs to man up. He didn't know how to drive his rig and blew it up, he's out, just go home with some dignity and stop being an asshole by hindering the rest of the competitors.

I'm assuming the last episode there will be some snow as they will be close to the Arctic circle, maybe it's locals screwing around in those snow shots

I don't know why Jason was even allowed to continue disqualified or not he should not have been left in the race. He is a egotistical asshole, he has the worse temper i have ever seen and he obvious does not realize the difference between the off road part and the racing part. It would have been one thing if war wagon bumped into him on flat ground but he was backing off a rock. Jason is just a bitch!

Jason's a pompous asshole "I was the best driver", really dude you were the first to blow your shit up and get disqualified.

The ending kinda sucked, "Ya you guys won, let's go home".

I loved how war wagon "the king of the mud" with the best mud boggers on got stuck trying to leave. Priceless.

I think it's funny how they all where trying to beat super jeep and they won

And Pete and shay won the last leg of it

And the best part was when war wagon got stuck at the end of it all

I feel bad for the brothers. That little 4cyl went through hell then died on a maintained road.

Hmmm.... I enjoyed the series overall. I thought it got better as it progressed.

I recognize that some of these guys were, essentially, playing a character as is common on reality shows. Having said that, I thought Rich, Jason, and Glen were d-bags. Butch was a little to stereotypical "mullet hillbilly" for me, and the Leigh brothers got a little too weird there at the end with their crazy facial expressions, nervous twitches, and bizzaro commentary. Carl was okay but kind of a dick at times.

Shay, Pete, and Bill were my favorites. I thought Shay showed a lot of class when she pulled over to let her brother drive in to the finish. Pete and Bill were just always totally calm, soft spoken, and laid back.

I would have like to see Jason and Rich fight. :duel:

It did end kind of... abruptly.
