The 2GR-FSE is due for an update. ;)

You can also tune the torque curve quite a lot with the cam profile, VVT tuning, intake runner length, etc.

They can make up lost torque with better gearing. For example, Honda has been equipping their vehicles with 4.55 final gearing to make up for lost low end torque, but making it up with a steeper over drive gearing. And if its a direct injected engine, torque shouldn't be an issue.

Hmmm.... Not really easy to tell how much they've changed. Definitely a lot of new bits but the important ones are hard to see.

Jackpot. This may be wishful thinking, but I think they created more room in the cab by re-sizing and reorganizing some things. This lets them keep the same cab size. Notice the slimmer center console and how the rear seats seem to protrude forward less. I think there is more legroom now which, a little bit is all I was asking for. Possibly slimmer doors too.

If I'm correct, I have been secretly hoping that they would do that.

Edit: Upon zooming, I see a darker area above the rear passengers' heads. Did they cave in the ceiling to create more headroom?

The Colorado and tacoma are already borderline oo big for me.. They're fine, but full size trucks cross into the just bigger enough to be too big. I actually looked hard at a power wagon, love every thing about that... Except the ridiculous size.

I just hope they give us some real metal door handles and knobs unlikely but is a very upscale feel.

So are you also looking at sup'ing up a Jetta ;).

The powerwagon is a massive fail in the oil field. A couple of guys got them right when they were first available. It's been years since I've seen one. Probably a reason for that.
