Spectre air filter?

    I think this is were this ? goes but has anybody used the drop in filter from Spectre? I just purchased one yesterday and searched the forum and nothing.

    They are not much different than all the other K&N type (Gause) filters.

    Well....Keep in mind, a filter isnt the big restriction in the intake. When driving normally, the major contributer to engine pumping losses is the throttle it self. At part throttle, the engine is pulling against the small opening of the throtle valve. even running no filter wont improve mpg. If you buy it to have an air filter you can clean, then I can understand that. :) But for better mpg.....nope.
