I still see the parking brake handle in about the same location in the second photo. Look closely.

With push button start you can have the key inside your house and it run, you can drive for miles after without the key, just don't shut off the vehicle.

I hate that location, I like it by my feet. Just makes it looks cleaner IMO

We've had the fobs in our house since the 2007 Prius. You need the fob inside the vehicle when starting it. After that, it can go about its merry way. When it's super cold out, we'll start the Prius and walk away. Runs like a champ. You can even continue to drive it without the fob, but whatever you do - don't turn it off!

You can't set the alarm with the fob in the car, nor will it allow a full locking of the doors (wife has to remember her keys when stashing her purse). I've locked plenty of keys in a car, but never a fob.

All things being equal, I'll take the push button start.

You guys make fair points. The last push button system I used was when it was first making it's way to road cars and it was nothing but a headache. Especially on cold mornings, simply didn't work. I haven't touched them since, but it sounds like the latest versions of them actually work decently.

Yup. I miss the push button start of the Prius and RAV4 when I'm driving my FR-S. It really is super handy.

They work great, anyone who doesnt like push button start has not been able to take advantage of them. Leaving the key in your pocket at all times is really nice. With toyota I beleive you just have to touch the door handle and it unlocks, ford you put your hand inside the door handle. Then you just hit start. The key remains untouched. Comes in very handy when you have gloves on and your fumbling around for keys in the winter. I dont have house keys because I use a keypad lock, to not have a vehicle key as well would be perfect.

Wow that dash looks great. I'm glad the foot pedal ebrake is gone. Way nicer climate control set up that is finally more modern than my 88 Supra.

I was just reading them and thinking the same thing. Folks need to keep it relevant. The one dude talking about they should make it the same size as his 1986 Toyota truck. Or "Can we put 33's on it without rubbing."
