    My wife grilled me last night about "wasting money" on protein supps..said just eat nuts or something. I explained it helps with the healing especially after a rough session but she refuses to listen.

    I also take a fat burner some days which is high protein.

    How to convince this lady in simple English?

    Protein supps in my oppinion are a waste. I'd rather have some meat or nuts. I used to spend a lot of money on them and occasionally buy a tub. My tubs last months though as I only have a shake every now and then. Normally I'll have one if I am running super late and won't be able to eat for a while.

    Just had a melt down on my roomie. He never washes his dishes after cooking. He doesn't even rinse them off. Just throws it somewhat near the sink. It ends up stinking or since I cook most meals, I end up having to wash the pots and pans I need. He also leaves shit like spilt eggs, grated cheese and chicken juice on the counter. I am contemplating giving him food poisoning since that's what pisses me off. It takes 2 seconds to wipe down an area after something spills. It takes about 2 minutes and chemicals to get crusty dried food off the counter.

    Roomates suck dude. It seems like all I do is feed mine and clean up after him. He pays me back by sleeping on the couch when I'm not home and shedding everywhere. Damn dog.

    I figure I'll just go with my original thought..

    She's actually recently started hitting the treadmill..good for her. But she's not losing the weight, even 5 pounds because she's not committing to it and the diet. Still drinks a shitload of coffee and such.

    I plan to say "well let's see. I'm taking them and I'm seeing the results. you're not and you're not. Let's let the facts speak for themselves"

    I will then duck and cover, and pray my ass kicking ends fast.

    Today and tomorrow are rest days. How do you work that muscle?

    No but seriously, tomorrow I'm gonna have an active rest day (I have to bowl tonight, and I'm not gonna go to the gym at 9 pm for an active rest...I'll just let it be a real rest day). Someone give me a good active rest routine. Figured I'd do some light cardio like my routine has been calling for every day (15 mins, 3 min easy, 1 min hard). Been walking at 3.5 mph for 3 mins, jogging at 8 for 1 minute.

    Mine only drinks her morning coffee and then water the rest of the day. Maybe a beer or a glass of wine after work. What I hate is her affinity for Ramen Noodles. Guess it could be worse though.

    I guess it's like what I did, went from 2 big bottles of Mt Dew a day to Sprite Zero.

    Good move in the short term..which is what it was, 2 months later I wasn't even drinking that. I only have soda once a week and in moderation.

    I have about 8 cherry coke zeros every weekend lately with my whiskey. But during the week I only drink water, at least a gallon a day. I usually drink fri and sat night but I'm trying to get away from that and cut back to maybe once on the weekend.
