I'm sure back in the day the hand-crank afficianados grumbled about these new fangled ignition keys and fancy starter motors and the general wussification of america. If only they had the internet to vent their outrage.

Dude they can't please everyone. You had to know that push button was soon to come. People were even complaining that they didn't have it already.

I like it. Not really all that much you can do to change the interior of a truck..

I like the interior, the textured finish all over the door looks less likely to get scratched.

Puts the 2nd gen interior to shame.

It's also the Limited. The interior of the 2015 Limited I had been looking at was nicer than those that the dealer had on the lot. I suspect the whistles and bells will be fewer and less fancier on the more common models.

I also need to re-read my Prius entune manual to figure out how to permanently delete that Bing app. That's gotta go.

If they come through with other things like motor/transmission, suspension, etc. This should be a great truck. I really like the photoshop images folks are already posting of mods. Can't wait to see the TRD version, since I hate limited. Chrome = ghey

The features I'm most excited for to upgrade from my 2002 4runner are:

-Wireless charging (my phone has an available battery that supports that)
-Push button start (cause it's cool)
-Dual zone climate control (my brother runs hot compared to me, and my fiancee is always cold)
    -Backup sensors
    -The Shifter is very stylish
-Leg room looks a little improved.

Man when you compare the interiors like that, the Chevy looks pretty bad IMO.

Totally agree. I still like the exterior look of the 2nd gen a little more but the third gen's interior looks bad ass

The Canyon dash is much better than the Colorado. I'd put the SLT on par with the Limited by appearance - the materials on the Tacoma may give it the edge. Won't know until I can actually spill coffee in it.
