Handbrake should be great for off-roading. That is what I hated about the foot parking brake on my 4Runner. It was either on or off without the opportunity to finesse it. The under column handbrake on the 1st and 2nd gen Taco was such a weird, finicky mechanism.

Good. Glad to see they put heated seats and mirrors. I might actually entertain the idea of trading the tundra for one. I didn't think heated mirrors were a big deal until I've been driving the tundra for a couple years and had a loaner taco a few weeks ago. Couldn't see shit in my mirrors for most of my commute.

Also glad to see a limited model available. That was seriously overdue. I like a nicely appointed interior that's comfortable and quiet while I'm either driving to work or tackling the trails. Push button start is kind of a gimmick to me. Also, with a baby & two dogs (one of which is golden retriever), leather is a MUST for easy cleanup of spills, dirt, grime, and dog hair. I added leather to my old taco, my tundra, and my wife's T4R.

The interior looks to be laid out nicely. They didn't really change much in terms of layout so it will remain familiar to most of us former Toyota owners. Everything is where you're used to it.

There was a Limited in the 2015 - I almost ordered one. It's not that new.

I like the interior a lot. Now I am curious about the new engine. Not sure we will get an MPG figure today as automakers tend to release that RIGHT before production, and production is a ways off.

Well, I think the new Nissan Titan makes the new Tacoma grill look rather humble lol. I think the Titans are good trucks but man, the new front end is UGLY.

It's the offspring of the unwelcome advances of a 2011 Titan upon a 2011 Dakota. It's the world's first "special needs truck."

So it's 100% got heated mirrors? Haven't seen this being confirmed yet?

Haven't seen it. I had a Frontier before the Tacoma and it wasn't a bad truck. The turning radius was absolutely horrible though. U-turns weren't do-able unless you had 3 lanes. The seats were very stiff and a few other things. It was a 4 cylinder access cab. Got me cross country twice. All in all though I don't think I'd ever buy another one as long as the Tacoma is around, so I guess never, lol

We know. We're insulting it in another thread just for fun, simply because it's something to do until the engine/transmission specs come out.
