I have a 4pin hitch harness sitting new in the box that i have had for 15months....won't install it because i despise wiring.

 

Here's the thing: I can do it, I just prefer not to.

Also helps that one of my fellow otters is an electrical engineer & much bette than me at that stuff.

I can figure it out, i just have a phobia about accidentally burning a $2xxxx truck down to the ground because i fucked up a simple ground or circuit

 

With that small gauge of wire for some LED lights its more likely to smolder and melt rather than actually catch fire.

 

You get the idea.

 

if you run everything through an aux fuse box, then you can mess up all you want, and the worst that will happen is you pop a $0.25 fuse....

 

When the winter is over I can help you with the wiring. Electrical circuits come easy to me.

 

In my opinion this is crucial on any vehicle that has additional electrical devices added. Also protecting the wiring is in the category as well.

All of this down here vvvv took a back seat to me needing wheels and suspenion parts

I'd like to have a 20" light bar behind the grill (when i get said grill), and some sort of low profile super bright reverse lights. Both operated by blue OTRATTW switches. I'd also like to do some flyzeye wired in interior lights. Also, at some point, i'll need one of Skygear's waterproof engine bay electrical boxes

 

The only thing that made wiring a little better was that I have a Blue Sea Fuse Panel installed on a breaker

 

stay tuned for an alternative fully sealed box......very different than anything else people are currently selling. we've been developing it for about a year now, and it is getting close to release time

Buy the fuse box first easier to do it once. I'm gonna rewire my truck when it warms up I'm tired of separate inline fuses and relays everywhere it's needs cleaned up. Not that what I have doesn't work or is a issue it's just not as clean as I would like

Surprised to see they downsized the engine.. Possibly tuned it for higher output and better fuel economy? So far I have a love/hate relationship with the new look. I love some aspects and think others are ass ugly.

 

Also, if anyone has any input on this topic it would be greatly appreciated. Its bothering me and I don't know what I should check.

At the moment I've got it down to tie rods, steering rack, or that my propeller shaft needs to be re-greased. Any ideas?
