I noticed recently that when I put my truck in 4H it pulls real hard to the left whenever I get on the gas. I'm thinking its an alignment issue but not sure. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Are you doing this off road or on hard pavement?

I'm talking about driving in snow. I've never had this happen in any other 4wd vehicle

No, with an open diff, torque is equal to both front wheels in 4wd.

OP, if your tire pressures are even all the way around, and your tires are the same and similar tread depth all the way around, then an alignment check should be in your future. You could try rotating the tires first though. What you have described is not normal.

I have new tires and the pressure is good. Time for another alignment I guess. Thanks for the input I didn't think it was normal to have a death grip on the wheel whenever I touched the gas pedal.

If it was alignment it would do it all the time, not just in 4H. As for it doing it even in snow and having it jerk the steering wheel from you it sounds like a brake or bearing problem or some other serious problem.
