I hate the hawks, but Marshawn's post game was awesome. Straight up Oaktown at its finest

Look, I will admit that Dallas didn't play a good game. I'm not stupid. But what REALLY gets me is all those who say that the rules are the rules, and it was an incomplete pass. Go check the play again and watch it. Then remember that the rules in a play state: A ball is down by contact if the receiving player makes contact with a defensive player (they made contact in the air as he caught the ball) and either the knee or elbow of the player makes contact with the ground. And if you check the video Bryant caught the ball while making contact with the player and BEFORE the ball hit the ground for the "incomplete pass" rule, his left elbow made contact with the ground. So at that moment the his elbow touched the ground, the play was DEAD. So the ball being knocked about by the ground could NOT cause an incomplete pass, because the ball was already down by contact at the 1 yard line. Sow Sure I am disappointed that Dallas lost the game, and fine, GB did play a better game and won, but still, that call was wrong. I also watched an after-game interview with a ref, and when the guy asked the ref SPECIFICALLY about the ball being down by contact, the ref ignored the question and went back to saying that it was simple, the ground can cause an incomplete pass, so it was ruled incomplete. He totally ignored the comment about the ball being down by contact in the first place.

I have said for a long time, and sure this could possibly have affected last weeks game, but I still think that there should be a 3 person judge, where you have to have a 2/3 majority to overturn ANY booth reviewed play. Not just ONE person making the decision.

I"m curious how you know who exactly those boos were directed at... That's some magic shit right there if you can decipher that. Most people I talked to that were at the game said they were booing at the play calling however, stating who those boos are directed at is pure speculation.
The franchise puts it on themselves with all the "Super Bowl or Bust" talk, but I for one am glad they have Super Bowl aspirations every year because a lot of franchises seem to not have that mentality... Even if it turns (some) of the fans into spoiled bitches

You're talking in absolutes about the whole fanbase. The truth is, many players, not just Peyton, were having difficulties, the coaches included. It wasn't necessarily directed at one person, but as a team. Many fans realized Peyton was playing hurt. Adam Schefter confirmed this morning he had been playing for weeks with a torn rectus femoris on his thigh, which is more severe than we thought. But I for one enjoy watching Peyton play and anyone who's watched Denver since the Elway era know he's been by far the best. At the end of the day, they've been a "Win Now" team and haven't been able to do it. So of course, many fans were disappointed because they've had huge expectations.

That would be the case had the receiver already been running, or had already completed the full "process of the catch". Since he jumped into the air to catch the pass, regardless of the contact with the defender while midair, he has to have possession of the ball both during and after contact with the ground. But since he failed to maintain possession after hitting the ground it was correctly ruled an incomplete pass.

I have respect for Peyton, but I think it's time to retire. Emmitt Smith once said something like the average game is like being in six car wrecks. With multiple neck surguries and all the hits at what, 39 next year? I hate to see a player of his caliber go out the hard way.

Remember, I hate the guy..respect the athlete tremendously but can't stand him.

That said..if he can play at a high level, I hope he plays one more year. He's got the all time yardage record in his sights for one. Plus I think he wants to make one more shot at a ring.

I hope he does go out on top of his game whenever he does though, I don't want to see him do as Favre did.

Tim Tebow now has a higher playoff win percentage than Manning does as a Bronco...

That's a pretty dumb stat to mention. Tebow can't even get a job as a 3rd string QB. Manning may be the best to ever play the position.

FYI, for all you clowns who are saying he doesn't have it anymore, he still lead the league in TD passes, and it's now being reported that he has been playing for the past month with a torn right quad.

Haters gonna hate I suppose. Don't forget Brady is only a couple years behind him. Getting old sucks.

Pretty useless statistic. Tebow won 1 playoff game when he was with the Donks. And it was a short pass to Demaryius Thomas who ran for 80 yards in overtime to beat the Steelers.

Other than his beating the Pats in the playoffs in the past two meetings, what exactly is there to dislike about him?

He is good. People don't like good players. Same reason some people hate Brady. I hate Brady because he plays for the Pats and seems like a huge douche and a shit teammate.

I agree. IMO, Brady is the #3 greatest QB of all time behind Manning and Marino. He'll move past Manning if he legitimately wins a superbowl, that is, without his cheater HC's illegal cameras.

I would like Brady if he knew how to lose with class and didn't throw bitch fits and point fingers on the sideline. It seems he is quick to yell at a teamate when the teamate screws up, but when he is playing like crap, he sits on the bench and pouts often literally crying.

I'm not going to get into the argument here...we still have playoffs going on...but honestly lil Tommy Brieber doesn't even crack my top 10, maybe even top 15

The guy is a major Dbag, but putting all that aside and only looking at his play on the field, what keeps him off your top ten all time list?
