She looks good to me... The new motor, hard cover Tonneau, locking Tail Gate, Creature comforts in cab including less noise, sun roof, no more "50's" aerial, new steel in frame, electric Power Steering, more MPG's, ......all these pluses makes up for the fugly grill, that I'll replace in the first year (someone will make a nicer one)...

My '06 might go back to them this fall...on trade, that way THEY can deal with the frame rot issue, that I don't have YET....

I don't like that. Color is weird and access cab doesn't complement that snout well.

You don't buy a truck for mpgs lol. I do like locking tailgate though.

The color does suck and I agree. Still waiting on the specs for the motor and how it's going to handle towing/recovery.

They added crawl from the FJ which is good shit I hear. Stoked on that. Interested in frame info

GoPro mount on mirror, big fing deal. I want auto dim, homelink, & outside temp. Looks like they stayed with 16" wheels ont the TRD. Good thing because I am not a fan of large wheels. I will be test driving one when they hit the dealers lots.

It allows you to take your foot off the brake and concentrate on steering. Operates each brake individually as needed

That's neat. What do you mean by each brake? And how does it know how fast to go? It sounds like it would get in the way.

I'm loving the features but this thing is just too nice to take offroad.

Crawl is only 1-5 mph. Each brake point brake independently from each other. It's been on the 4Runner for some time.

Lol I see a lot of people complaining about the Tan color (looks a lot like the initial FJ Cruiser tan color). Good thing Toyota decided to release a bunch of other colors to pick from.:p

I think that concrete gray Trail team FJ color looks like crap but thank god we get options.

Toyota just isn't going to jump out of a box that already rolls, and smoothly at that.

Beefed up frame, better interior, and new drivetrain are about the most anyone should really expect out of it. Plus, by not making huge drastic changes it helps the aftermarket stay very supportive of the platform.

Visually, I always hate new sheet-metal and headlights, etc. Then a couple years down the road I usually find myself thinking "Hey, that is pretty bad-ass looking"

Agreed Dan. I don't know what else could be asked for other than power seats and more info on the gauges. I pretty much want an ultragauge retrofitted to the dash and made attractive. People complain about the lack of features in the current gen, but want "basic" stuff in the next gen. One day I'll drive a new Tacoma, but for now, I like mine because I can mod it and play with it. This new one, I don't even want to take out of the garage except to take pictures!
