Keep it as three. For fishing rods.

Why don't you just use PVC?

    They're*

Thanks for the help. I'll figure it out.

I have to decide whether i want to try to find a toyota flag that isn't shitty, or just fly either an American flag or a Gadsden flag.

    I do not fish.

Because me gusta metal. Don't want anything sticking up past the bed rail either. I like stealthy, fit everything under the tonneau, type shit

Then you can use a bed cleat for the rotational advantage.

I didn't say to modify it. You could use another metal bracket with a wing nut on the back (by the bedwall) and just loosen the wing nut to lower it when you want to close your tonneau

Thats what i'm going to try. I'll copy my bed rail brackets and then make or buy a flag pole holder to bolt to them

I've done a bunch of cheap mods to the bed area of my truck using quick-fist clamps and kayak paddle holders.

Holders for my roof racks (I think you can also see the rings I have mounted to the roof for holding my kids hockey sticks.

Cool trailer hitch idea. Is the washer fluid for when offroad and using liberally?

Thanks! I don't off-road much, but I always seem to run out of it at the worst times & I only use the Rain-X stuff. Not all gas stations stock it around here. Without a warning light I'd rather have it on hand.

Trailer hitch idea was kindof a last-minute throw together idea. Keeps it out of the way & lets me use the pin-key to keep it in place so I don't lose them too. Can't use the bins because the drop is too big & the bins have holes & get filled with salt water from winter road treatment.
