Me: SC, 2.85 pulley, y-pipe(maybe), and fuel pump down the road. Already have my CAI w/ Ram Air Scoop, AFR gauge/boost gauge, and Cat back exhaust. Suspension upgrade will be in between all that engine mods. LT? Long Tube or Long Travel? If you're referring to Long Tube then no, hate to deal with Nazi California smog issues.

Lol ok friday I'm picking up wall to wall shelves for my garage, then cleaning it all up. THEN I can park the prerunner in there and leave it in Jacks as I start returning it to stock. Once that's done then I can start shopping around for a 4x4 sport dcsb. Once I find it, I'm having them install my SC that's currently sitting in the garage, before I drive away. And then it's off to a fab shop for the Camburg LT taking up space in the closet, and the DMZ SUA I'm ordering soon.

So yea...I talk alot about it, but I don't haz it yet lol

Yea, the cost sucks and I'm sure there's gonna be plenty of little issues that would annoy the shit out of me. Plus these engines are pretty tried and true...not saying the new one isn't tested and good, but I'd rather stick with something that has immense aftermarket support

all little things I can deal with not having and I have weather hd (when it works, lol), but yes total b.s. that this was taken away for the 14-15's. Like Volcom said. I know how to work on these trucks with ease and the 4.0 is pretty bullet proof.

    Too few to list.
Good stuff as in 2012-15 front end. The new front end looks like its a smiley face with a big nose. That's a crap reveal for toyota, no specs.

That's fine, I was already planning on putting switches in the overhead console thing. so what's there? A garage door clicker again?

Yup, sunglasses holder is getting nixed. That's gonna be my lighting panel. garage door clicker will be way more useful. I'm constantly losing mine, since it doesn't have the piece to put it on the overhead sun shades...brain fart, whatever their called...I'm liking this better and better lol.

The 2015 might be worth some good resale in future regardless what we think here. Bottom line last year of the decade look. While the newer Taco has grown on me a tiny bit its really hard to get past how good the current Gen looks today. For me at least.

I was working on a lot 2014 DCLB new for last month it was just sold due to me waiting on 2016s specs. But I'll be completely honest while the interior and new fandangles of the 16 are imo sweet I may just get the 2015. I'm pretty impatient with mods and aside from suspension much of the 2016 is going to take abit of fucking around to get to look right. I wouldn't shy way for the unknown reliability I don't think that's an issue it'll be pretty solid. The aftermarket support will take some time 8-14 months I suspecr b4 some real look changing stuff comes to surface...

I dunno I thought the interior which is good now tad nicer and some drivetrain changes would sway me full .... But not yet...

Maybe within this next week some more confirmed good news towards the 2016 will sway me. I want to love it just... That front mug... Sigh** lol

I'm hoping my 2015 will keep good value being the last of its generation/look. I'm ridiculous with maintenance just gotta not molest it. lol.

Nice  That's ambitious. Long travel btw.
Why buy a new 2nd gen? Keep yours until you buy again, then get a 3rd gen!
I don't think there will be many issues.

Yea that's my line of thought as well. Last year of the gen 2, and a newer truck for me, I can mod it how I want to and how I should have at the start, and have the truck I always dreamed of. And then buy a DD and let my truck be a offroad beast in the garage lol

It will. I had a 92 and 98. Both got used well but I also maintained em like a Natzi and fetched imo real great cash for them. It's not so much of what a vehicle is stock rather what it is after I've had the time and journey of building it up and modding to my taste. I see many posts especially last few days of 2014-2015 owners immediately jumping into the 2016 ship I don't get it the 2012-2015 are beautifull trucks imo. Pre 2010 I get still great truck but people get abit bored after 5 years.. Well most people do lol.

Because I don't want a 3rd gen. I don't want to buy now just to twiddle thumbs for a year while the aftermarket catches up, AND, if you actually read what I wrote up there, I'm sitting on about 10k worth of aftermarket stuff for a 2nd gen. I'm not just gonna say 'welp, better sell it all at a loss and get a 3rd Gen so I can rebuy all that stuff for even more money because a it's a new gen'. No thank you. Maybe in 10 years when gen 4s are coming out and I'm getting tired of my old 2015

Speaking of how some Tacos hold a space in my heart! Look how timeless a 1992 can look in a showroom! Man this brought back memories.

Stopped at a small local dealer today and seen this gem. 3100km on the odo truly a rare beast. Owner of the dealer of course he will not sell :( Sorry to go off topic just had to share before hitting sack.
