Uh they need new corners badly. Offense is pretty good but the line could use some beefing. I think most of the work needs to come on the defensive side though.

Well that's part of it, the rivalry..honestly each one makes the other better and those 2 against each other will always be a great matchup.

I remember Peyton and Bill Polian both complaining after the playoffs in 03 (might be 04, I forget) and ended up getting rules changed about defense of WR and such.

I also recall Manning having fits like some say Brady has all the time, for instance the Saints-Colts SB. More recently in a game this year (might have been vs the Pats, I forget) I don't believe he shook anyone's hand after and just bolted.

 

Could be, plus let's remember in the past Denver was caught manipulating things with the cap..I believe Elway and Terrell Davis were 2 contracts

 

Shanny could make me a 2k rusher, haha..look at the list of RBs he's had success with. I don't know their contracts but if I was Montee Ball or Ronnie Hillman I'd be updating my resume

The Seahawks don't have the salary cap issues that the Broncos have. Allot will depend on Wilson's contract. Still they have quite a bit of cap space.

 

Actually, Denver signed Ware and Talib. With the win now mentality and it didn't work. What it did tie up allot of cap space.

 

None of the Seahawks have front loaded contracts. None. What they have are young players that have been signed to contacts that have the majority guaranteed. A risk one may say but a risk with a young player they are willing to take.

One thing that can be said about Brady, several times he's restructured for less money (including recently to save $24M against the cap) to enable the Patriots to resign or go after other players. As an aside, I wonder how pissed he was when he did that so they could retain Welker and that didn't happen haha

 

Yeah but Bill definitely made the better decision on that... Look how well Welker did after he left the Pats. It's like Belichick knew something.

 

Not sure exactly why that all went down, but someone didn't want him back for some reason. I'd have rather kept him versus that waste of money Amendola signing

 

While the Broncos do have a lot of guys to sign, they have quite a bit of cap space to work with. I believe they're projected at 32-35million under. If Peyton doesn't retire I would fully expect him to re-structure to get a little more cap space. I think Julius is gone after his showing the second half of the season... He's just too soft to be a TE. They'll lock up DT and Knighton(I hope). They definitely need to make the right decisions this off season, but they've done a good job so far and I think they'll come out alright.

 

What's Ball and Hillman looking like? I don't believe they're FA, so question is cut em and eat some $ still or not. Don't see both of them staying with CJ seeming to have the starting gig..

 

Sorry, but check the rules. I have. The moment the player's elbow touched the ground the ball was dead. Once the ball is dead, it cannot be fumbled, nor can it become an incomplete pass. A dead ball is a dead ball.
