That snorkel is $400 though...

 

Hilux 167 and it for 3rd gen 4runners

And it looks so much better.

 

We won't know exactly how the Hilux one will look until our dearest Q Source trys it

 

I don't like the snorkels that run all the way down the fender like the Hilux one does.

unless your entire truck is safari ready for expedition water crossings in the Congo.. why would you add a snorkel?

ooh look my intake wont suck up water but oh noes.. my exhaust does and my electrical system fried.

Just avoid deep water crossings and you'll be fine.

 

as far as ive read, and experienced it helps me get alot cleaner air into my engine when going in big groups through dusty trails, also its more of a true cold air intake, the water factor was more of a bonus.

You can waterproof electrical equipment. And I think the snorkel just looks cool. That's why I am not going to shell out $400 for one. Aaaand as long as you don't shut off the engine, you won't get water in your exhaust

Yes, I like them when they run down the side of the fender. Think it would look better if the truck was built and had some black accents

 

I want to know who in the hell brought a dildo with them to Pismo...

 

I am also curious as to what motor is in the hilux that that snorkel is made for. I looks much smaller then the tacoma one. I'd be worried about airflow a tad.
