Ok. I say new dash and you break down all of the components of the dash and call them new. Fine. You got new knobs in new places. The bones of this cab and truk are the same. Same layout. Same seating position. Same rear view mirror in the way of seeing to the forward and right. Are you sure the seats are new? They look same or same near the same to me.

This product just seems lazily engineered. It's Toyota saying "let's throw as little money at this as possible and see how much mone we can squeeze out of them before we actually have to work".

My opinion. All new means all new. Not disguising the previous gen. Or attempting to.

Whatever dude , the whole interior is different than the 2nd gens .

As far as the same layout and seating positions , the whole gauges in front of the driver's seat and passengers to the right and behind is kinda a given

I take it you haven't seen the new dodge ram rebel or the new ford raptor. you think the Tacoma on the back was big, take a look at the rear of both of those. or the front.

This can be Gen 2.5. Or Gen 6 if we're counting refreshes as gens. Haha.

I'm not sure why there's such a heated debate over what generation the new Tacoma is but, I think everyone can agree Toyota has made significant changes for 2016. Whether it's better or worse than the existing Tacoma will be determined by those who buy it.

Says the guy with 250,000 posts on TW (dont be fooled, post count has been reset quite a few times people lol). As you can see by my post count I do step away from the computer. I like to chime in every once in a while and ruffle feathers as they say :)

There's no reason to be disrespectful doing it. Hiding in the anonymity of the Internet hurling insults for fun is childish and unwelcome behavior. Be better than that.

People freaking out over being called an idiot by someone they never met in their life....holy shit people are sensitive. You guys would not make it in pirate4x4 forums or ttora.com without feeling insulted...hell i got bashed there for asking apparently a dumb noob question

So, what does that have to do with how you address people? Berating insults and personal attacks are not what this forum is about. You know what you said, and what the mods said to you.

This isn't a matter of sensitivity, it's a matter of respect. Treat people with respect, and you'll be treated respectfully. Your behavior is not respectful, and you were called out on it.

Never singled anyone out. It was to everyone.

I don't care what was said in the past in previous posts all I care about is it's dropped and people move on with civility.

The 3rd gen section has turned into a bigger debate than the PreRunner 4WD debate.
