30 and younger thread

I havent tuned it yet because they read the same swr. I did try tuning it but it just made one worse/one better but not by much

I was grounded to battery, redid it to frame and checked with ohm meter. Mount is grounded.

Wired direct to battery.

The only thing i can think is the meter to transmktter cable is causing a ton of interference being ten feet and wound up. I need like a 6 inch cable.

 

9ft antenna to radio. You dont think the long cable between meter/radio is causing issues?

 

Hmm ill take another look tomorrow. Maybe ill add a nylon nut between the mount/cable to make sure its not grounding out at the connection

 

I have bolt, fire ring, mount, nylon, flat washer, lock washer stud.

 

I did the bottom obviously

 

Ordered a 3ft jumper cable to give it a try. Overnight shipping was 20 bucks. Probably will work better than the odd 10ft i have

 

Just the one between the swr meter and radio is.

The antenna to swr meter is 9ft.

 

Was wondering when it would make sense, ha.

Ill give it a try then (didnt realize my swr didnt come with a jumper).

Mines not as cool, but i was planning on Grouping up In a class with this cute girl from switzerland and her cute friend, but today I ended up having one of them in another class and she flat out asked me if I had a group and if I wanted to join them.

ya sure why not.


Also the same class that the first question the teacher asked on the lesson (I was the first one to answer) I answered and his reaponse was "well you get an A+, you don't need to come the rest of the semester" lol. Felt somewhat smart
