I have a fancy kitchen sink faucet. Having a hose hooked up to it would probably be the demise of every seal in the base of this thing.

Like most pipe dreams... this will never come to fruition.

    I have a pressure washer.

I have the plumbing skills to run a hose bib to the garage.

I use the commercial auto or do-it-yerself places in the winter.

I don't want to turn my driveway into a sheet of ice.

My house has this by accident. But it's out back. :-(

My truck spent the first part of it's life in Salt Lake City...so I'm battling rust issues. Nothing major but it's there. I have two spots trying to come up through my bed liner in the bed by the fenderwells. Arg

My only rust concern (and its unknown) is inside the frame where my slider frame plates were welded on. I'm sure the heat penetration altered the metal on the inside of the frame. But I have no idea if it's oxidizing or not. Seems like a prime spot to get rusty.

Mag Chloride is a liquid that's sprayed on the road. Makes kind of an oily foam if you see it when it's being sprayed.

The stuff you see at intersections is actually sand and small gravel. That's the alternate method we use in CO. Drop gravel on top of the snow/ice which adds traction. It has the side effect of chipping the crap out of our windshields and when all the snow is gone leaving large patches of sand and light gravel all over the road (which plays hell with motorcycles in corners during springtime).

I've ate it on my motorcycle on the sand and on the mag chloride itself. Both aren't fond memories.

I do know my windshield is a year and 24,000 miles old and could be replaced already... That's half my driving habit's fault though.

Eastwood sells a internal frame spray paint. The tip comes with a 2 ft hose that you can fish through the frame. I have some but I haven't used it yet. You could look into it if your interested.

That sand and small gravel does have salt in it as well. The idea is to melt the ice layer. It's nasty to dogs pads.
