Have you seen the VW case version that has the key ring removable with 2 screws? That one shipped with an extra ring would resolve peoples abuse and breakage. No issues with mine. Just an idea.

FYI: This practice is the exception rather that the rule. Completely dependent on the product department, class, and subclass(vendor).

Have them sent to a different address. Once your address and name are flagged. They will get every single one of them. Been there done that. Send it to one of your employees house. Just the logos. Get the keys like usual. Have the logos sent to another address.

how much for one of those new style keys? I could care less about the range of the remote if the design is stronger. just my $.02

    Stock for now...
LOL - wrong Weber...think Italian carburetors . I stopped building/selling them a few years ago - used to do rebuilds/high-angle mods here and sent them all over the world .

That key looks great - decent size to give it some strength but small enough not to get destroyed . This trend towards bigger keys is irritating a lot of people , could probably expand into a lot of other brands easily . Can't wait to see it ....

What if the board was grounded to the metal, could you see an increase in signal strength? I worked with Faraday cages in graduate school and when they were improperly used, it would create more interference. Perhaps this could be leveraged in this case?

It was a hassle just to get my current board in there. The board also had to be turned...so signal was going in the wrong direction. Im just going to get a few VW flip keys from supplier and sell them. I don't have to do any work.

I see you are still upset about the whole thing and sorry I didn't caress your feelings when I tried to order a flip key from you before. I also apologize about wanting to ask questions about a product that you were selling even though I was just looking for a little clarification.

    Friends? :D
