I believe it's both, as it's a top-plate spacer instead of a coil spacer (mounts to the top of the strut assembly).

If it's a half inch thick wouldn't that give you almost 1 inch of lift tho?

cant be. where the lower shock mounts to the lower a arm is about 60-70% of the way out to the end of it.... 1/4in spacer gets you about 3/8th-1/2in of lift.

    This is what I ordered.

I believe I have the 2.5" coils. Add the spacer for the full 3". Take it to a reputable shop and get it aligned and be happy... I ended up with about 2-3/4" in the front after the lift and that was with the spacers. Not sure why there is so many antis on here saying different. My alignment guy has been in the game at a major shop for 30 years and knows his stuff. He says the older T100s and some others have issues with needing UCAs but not the Tacoma with the lift I went with... Hell, I even posted my alignment specs and even though they are within spec, someone has to say yeah, but they are not in the middle of the range and you probably will have wandering issues. My truck drives awesome with no issues... All I can say on this...

Confirmed with ToyTec, the OP's kit comes with the other Eibach coil, not the 2.5" I have.

Y'all still think I can get the caster borderline to OK with my set-up?

    Front: ToyTec/Eibach 521600 2.5" coil, 1/2" top plate spacer, Bilstein 5100 set to 0.0
Rear: ToyTec/Deaver 1.5"/2.0" AAL, OEM Bilstein HD shocks
Stock UCA's, no diff drop, no axle shims or carrier bearing drop

Well I'm trying to decide whether or not to also install the top plate spacer, if I do I will be at 3.0".

I've been stealing enough threads, I chose to create my own to get some specific feedback on my lift install

Drove for a week with my stock tires before I could get an alignment. Put my new wheels and tires on last night and went to the Toyota dealer this morning to get it aligned. Drives just fine. Im totally satisfied. I used the .85 clip position with the top plates. Right after the install it measured almost 4 inches of lift but after driving a week it settled down to right at 3 inches.
