I don’t know maybe.....

Yeah I know that and I have no problem trying to weld in uncomfortable position. But I think at least for the first few days(maybe a week or 2) we should be allowed to as comfortable as we can be. Than once we know what we are doing have us do it where we are uncomfortable.

yeah my brother has a teacher at UT thats like that as well.

I like the videoing idea and though about it. but i never really know when he is just going to be good at teaching or when he is going to be crappy. also i think it would be kinda hard to film everything for 6 hours. 1, battery may not last that long and may run out of space. i could have extra batterie(s) and maybe SD cards but thats also kinda of a bitch to deal with.

I think i know why one kid dropped out or switch to a different class. him and the teach really did not get along at all. the kid already did a welding school in FL and like 8months or 1year of welding in the field. but teacher acted like he did not know what he was talking about and knew nothing and that he(the teacher) was the only one that knew anything.

 

side note my birthday is 2 weeks from today! lol

 

You need more then 1 or 2 weeks to "know what you're doin". I been welding since I was 14 and still don't know what I'm doin. Haha

 

Only thing you know how to do well is piss people off haha, I have my cawi certificate and still don't know all the ins and outs of welding.

 

I was just throwing out a time frame.

 

Or piss my self off. Haha I'm much better off working by myself

You don't know the real joys of welding until you've slid on your back to get up under a truck scale at the landfill to weld up a busted support beam when it's 100 degrees out. Along with the smell, heat, spiders, and mystery sludge, there isn't much room to work under there.

 

28th. going to be 23... it really sucks because i’ll be in school that night as well.

Just a little snow this morning. It was gone by nine

 

lol. i coud skip but they kinda only give you so many days you can skip or your grade goes down and could possibly lose any money you where given. so i don’t want to just skip unless i really really need to. (say i got the flu or in a wreck and was hurt.)

 

that sucks. I may try and come out there some time soon. Got a buddy that goes to MTSU.

 

let me know. maybe we can grab a beer or hit soma trails.
