Ok, 225 for the same tank your dad has here. I should be able to get one much cheaper on eBay and then they just swap it for a $35 fee. Gonna try to find another gas place but I think the closest one is Cheyenne.

So, the local company said they have the big 20lb tanks (60 cu ft) like Steve had but only have 2 for exchange and it takes a month for a bottle to come back filled. But the most common is the 20 cu ft which they keep 20. $20 for an exchange. Now, I know it won't last long at all but I should only need to refill it occasionally right? When I change weight and have to account for that with the shocks? And of course getting them dialed in the first time. Then it's just a matter of setting the regulator and maintaining pressures, yes?

I am not against the bigger bottle but if I have to drive to cheyenne to get it exchanged at airgas then it defeats the cost savings.

I have a 40 cuf and have used it a bunch and it's still got lots of life left in it. I know the ori's take more volume but you should be fine with the 20cuf...

I paid $200 for my 125 cu ft at air gas and it costs $40 to exchange.

You'll also have to adjust them throughout the year as temps change. I usually do it once late fall and once late spring.

When outside temps stay below 40* all winter and you set them up there, come summer when temps get into the 80's and 90's your going to be riding at full droop. Then again come winter you won't be riding on the bumps but you'll sit low.

As for fine tuning them, I haven't really found anything noticeable ride wise with the pressure. JW and I found they bottom out pretty harshly with the lowers set at 90psi. It was better at 120 psi. We tried 140 but I bottomed out my regulator on the upper before I got to ride height so I lowed it back to 120 and leave it there. The more air you put in the lower the more air you have to put in the upper for the same ride height.

That damper screw on the bottom and plugging or adding holes inside the compression valve are how you really adjust the valving and what I have done to fine tune my ride.

You can add or take away upper pressure if you are riding too stiff or bouncing too much but it's only a minor adjustment and it will affect ride height.

They want 255 for the 60 cu ft tank and more for bigger tanks. Plus, I just don't have the space for the huge tanks. I contacted Jerry and he said the 20 cu ft would be fine as long as I am not adjusting all the time so Ill order a used tank off ebay and just exchange it. Still trying to see if the ORI fill kit is worth it or if I should piece together my own.

Quite a few of the new colorados buzzing around town now. They look awkward in person. I didn't love the new look in pictures but I didn't hate it either. In person, I just don't like it.
