I installed a bunch of flush mount LEDs in my vehicles and considered that but didn't do it yet. How specifically did you run the wire through those and out the holes to connect them? Also, what circuit did you wire them into? Dome light circuit? I was going to put some in the outside door handles wired into the dome on my Optima which fades to on as you approach (keyless entry sensor) so the effect would be pretty cool and would automatically come on as you approach w/o any additional input required which is nice. Not sure how I'd wire them on the Tacoma.

I've got two up in the front corners of the bed that are painted black and pad locked for tie downs, bungees & such. I've also got one I painted white with a red cross similar to yours on the driver's side that isn't locked that has a couple first aid kits inside. I get a lot of compliments on my ammo cans. People often ask if they're filled with ammo which is pretty funny.

I made a shade for the Entune screen which enables reading in direct sunlight. It attaches with two small hook-n-loop tabs at the bottom and stows behind the visor when not needed. Corrugated cardboard painted black.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

This is the phone mount I made from strap aluminum and an old holster type phone holder. I ran the charging cable into the center console to an "always on" plug I wired.

Not really a mod to the truck...but it does make my truck life easier. This is a key holder I fashioned from a hex key frame. I simply enlarged the holes that needed it and bolted the thing back together. Less bulk in my pocket. No jingle at all. Feel less like "the school janitor".

@LuseTaco, which size action packer tote is that, the 24 gallon or something like that?

Also, I did the "rock lights" thing, but with LED strips, wired it to an always hot on my aux fuseblock and grounded on the dome light ground.

Fades on and off. Tis nice.

But I may replace them for brighter ones, mine are blue though.

THIS..I want something like this but maybe a little more low profile. Always bugged me that the screen is totally useless in direct sunlight.

Hmm, thanks. Idk if this will fit all my stuff and my 4 way lug wrench. I may get rid of that now.
