ended up going a different route. They did ride well. But needed something easier to tune. As I'm lazy.

yep I think mine is probably not far off from that either haha.

Yeah I cut them pinch weld every 1" or so with an angle grinder then used a large crescent wrench to fold it over towards the outside of the truck. Then took a 10 lb sledge and beat the wheel well back like it owed me money. My neighbors haven't looked at me the same since.

you could but that is what holds the cab portion of the body together, there are several layers of metal pinched together hence the name pinch weld. If you cut if off completely be careful not to grind back too far or else you will have a nice leak come into your cab from the wheel well area, plus if you cut if off then beat the wheel well back it will be even more prone to splitting that pinch weld open.

It doesn't really take up alot of space once it's folded over and hammered down. If I can fit 36s folding the pinch weld over I'm sure you could fit 35s :D

Okay good to know ! it honestly doesn't seem like I am that much work away from actually being able to do it. I was creepin' through your build thread and I do not have NEAR the welding skills you do, but for the 35"s it didn't look that crucial...
